Founded in 1972, the Iowa Nebraska Hunter Jumper Association (INHJA) was established to support and promote the growth of hunter and jumper equestrian sport throughout the Iowa and Nebraska region. From its earliest days, INHJA has been dedicated to creating opportunities for riders, trainers, barns, and horse show professionals while fostering a strong sense of community and sportsmanship.
Over the decades, INHJA has grown alongside the sport, adapting to the evolving needs of its members while remaining rooted in the values of fair competition, education, and horsemanship. Through recognized horse shows, points programs, year-end awards, and outreach initiatives, the association has played a meaningful role in shaping the regional hunter/jumper community.
INHJA’s continued success is built on the vision, dedication, and hard work of those who helped establish the organization and those who have carried that mission forward over the years.
INHJA is proud to support hunter and jumper riders across Iowa and Nebraska — building community, opportunity, and a love for the sport.
